Who Can Apply?

- Cleared the Written Round of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2023

No separate exam or interview will be held. Selection will be based on UPSC CGSE 2023 Written Exam scores.
Reservation & Age Relaxations
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 15 years (depending on category)
- Ex-Servicemen & Jammu-Kashmir domiciles (1980–1989): As per GOI rules
Candidates must present valid certificates in prescribed formats during document verification.
Salary & Perks
Selected candidates will receive:
- Basic Pay of ₹40,000/- (during training)
- HRA, IDA, Allowances (cafeteria approach)
- PF, Medical Insurance, Superannuation Scheme
- Vehicle and Housing Loans (as per company policy)
- Performance Related Pay (PRP)
Job Location & Bond Details
- Training Period: 1 year (Probation)
- Posting: Anywhere across India at MECL’s offices or projects
- Bond: ₹1.8 Lakhs for 3 years of service + ₹5,000/month retention from salary (refunded after 3 years)
Medical Fitness
Final appointment is subject to:
- Clearance by a government medical officer
- Fitness checks covering vision, hearing, cardiovascular, and neurological health
